    M36 tunic, need your comment

    Hello everybody,

    I would like to have your comment on this M36 Feldbluse.
    Also please give your advise on the value of this tunic.

        I think collar tabs were stitched by hand post war. Do you think the angle should be changed?

              I agree. The collar looks replaced with a stylishly more pointed one. The collar insignia is awkwardly positioned, but that could easily have been done wartime when the collar was retailored. Hard to say. Almost looks like whoever did it was confused where to place the insignia when the collar geometry was changed. If done post-war, I would sure be tempted to re-apply the insignia more correctly.

                An additional thought: Does it look like larger collar insignia were once applied to the collar? I'd be suspicious of a wartime conversion of an issued Feldblüse for officer use that was post-war restored back to enlisted Gefreiter rank.

                  Yes I don't like angle of collar tabs and want to change. In case of re-attachment, what color of thread will be suitable for stitching?
