Nice colour film of captured high ranks.
Goring still has his shiney stuff, but no doubt that all
went with the diamond badge. Is the eagle missing?
Next shot Shows all cap eagles gone from all ranks and
breast eagles also, ( based on the O.R. in flight blouse,
Galland has cap and breast eagles missing, Kesselring?
has all. Airfield shot shows Galland without, but other officers
retain. Was this a general rule to remove after 8th May, or
GI's filling their boots?

IIRC an order came down making POW's remove the eagle and swaz. Nice video

I love the footage of Generalfeldmarschall Kesselring.....wearing an olive colored tropical tunic, with a Luft Generals breast eagle also on olive colored backing. It makes a nice contrast to his regulation blue-gray Luft officers field cap he is wearing.....with a gold eagle on WHITE backing. Of course, these would all be pure fantasy items in the eyes of the textbook collectors.
