Some of you know that I got out of Luftwaffe collecting to concentrate on Heer in the months before my son was born. I have dipped my toes back into the pool a bit with this unnamed Flak Major, who held either the DKiG or Spanish Cross. The pants are a perfect match in fabric, but the tunic obviusly saw more wear - he must have been a reithose kind of guy...

The "dirty bird" is more of a vulture, but I've seen enough period photos of LW officers wearing them like this that it won't cost me any sleep.
