    Need some help here ...

    Gentlemen,

I picked up these pieces and need your opinions on them.
Before I put down my opinions, what do you guys think?

    Please help.

SA Cap eagle - marked A for assmann

Goret eagle - notice the edges have been filed along the perimeter.

SA Lapel Pin Eagle - no markings on this one

Werhmacht Heer Eagle Stickpin - no markings but very detailed

The large eagle is for a political standard bearer's gorget. It has not been filed. What you see is the aluminum layer of the CupAl material.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Bob, thank you. there has been on markings on the gorget eagle. what are your opinions on it? I feel that it might be a high quality repro but i might be wrong. As for the edges, they seem to have been filed off on the edges, very strange.

I am leery of the PL gorget eagle. I would expect to see RZM markings to the reverse somewhere and it seems there are none…
These gorgets are being reproduced very well at present and this seems to be one of the parts of the post war product.
Just my opinion…..for whatever it is worth…….

            Jeff,

please have a look at this separate thread i posted on the relevant sub-forum.

            http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=329061

Moderator Pascal had opinionated that its an original.

im a bit suspicious as i know these are highly reproduced and yes, no markings on whatever.

            please advice futher. many thanks.
