    Jager officers tunic opinions please

Guys im hoping to purchase my first tunic it is from Keulers Militaria.

Im unsure what Jager means to me it means an elite infantry unit?.
Please can you share your opinions regarding this tunic. It comes with no shoulder boards so im wondering if white piped infantry boards would be correct. The sellers says all the buttons and breast eagle are originally attached.Has any one had any dealing with Keulers?.

Jaeger were light infantry units. If you have a look at this Jaeger waffenrock you can see the colour for the waffenfarbe...

...although the waffenfarbe colour all depends on the trade of the individual concerned. I have a Jaeger M36 tunic that belonged to an officer in a signals unit so the waffenfarbe is yellow. Usually the colour on the collar litzen is the same as to what the shoulder boards should be....

I can't really make out the colour either - the best photo showing the collar litzen is out of focus abit. It is possible the colour is black (Pioneer(Pionier)) but my eyes may be playing tricks on me and it could be a green dulled/dirtied through the years. A better photo of the collars would be more helpful.

In the summer of 1942 a Jäger arm patch with three oakleaves was introduced to be worn on the right upper arm.
