Is a bit rare, the tunic is stamped B45 (Berlin depot, 1945) and the RBNr code for berlin is 0/0250/.... The maker was not in Berlin or near, but is stamped in Berlin depot. I don't understand why.
Hi Eugenio
I don´t think its hard to figure out.
The tunic was made be a Maker outside Berlin, and sent to Berlins Bekleidungs Depot to be distributed to a Heer unit.

Not usual, the maker if I'm not wrong was in Poland and Warsaw was liberated in January. The tunic was made in Poland and went more than 300km to the Berlin depot to stamped the sizes and the B45, is a bit rare. I do not want giving of about authenticity of the tunic, but all the tunics with Berlin depot stamp and RBNr I have seen was made by Berlin located or close, maker

B 45 not necessary mean that it was Berlin . Could be also Breslau 45 . Other thing is that as Ohlau already wrote ; the diffrence between Warsaw ( which was "liberated" in January 45 ) and Greifenberg ( which was seized in may 45 ) was over 300 Km ! Soviet didn't captured Niderschlesien ( todays polish Dolny Śląsk ) in may 45 as they didn't cross Odra river till that time !
Niderschlesien wasn't a part of Poland at that time but was part of III Reich ! So your words about "liberated" Poland and polish maker has nothing to do with true as the maker was located in III Reich area.
From Greiffenberg (Gryfów Śląski) was much closer to Breslau, not
Berlins (135 km vs 262 km).
Why transporting cloths so far in that time when is not enough fuel, lack of vehicles, many troops are sending to close frontline and Breslau ??
(and because of that have prioryty in supply ?)
