"1936 Spanien 1939" Cufftitle

Here for your viewing is my latest buy. The spanish cufftitle. Not often seen and one of the rarest cufftitles to find. According to Gordon Williamson's "German Military Cuffbands 1784-present" page 66, "it was intended solely for restricted wear and its use was authorized only on the Waffenrock dress tunic, the ornamented Feldbluse and on the greatcoat worn with parade and walking-out dress."
The units selected were the Panzer-Lehrregiment and the Nachrichten-Lehrabteilung. In the case of the Panzer-Lehrregiment, only the 1. Abteilung was authorised to wear it. A rare piece indeed.

I have seen photos of one on a panzer wrap...perhaps the owner will share it. It also has the panzer Lehr devices on the shoulder boards.
