GD shoulder boards

I have a technical question here

On a doctor (officer) of the GD, what devices are expected to be on the shoulder boards? Both the GD ant the medical one or only one of them?

Now you are talking something I know about.

I have seen one picture of a named medical officer that served in the GD. He was a Hauptmann and clearly used the medical blue piping, two pips, metal GD cypher, but no medical "cadeusus" device.

However, in my collection I have a set of Hauptmann boards. They are medical blue piped, standard size GD cypher, two pips and the medical cadeusus. It is all very tight on the boards. 100% original to them as the boards are very, very field worn.
I amtraveling right now but will be happy to post a scan by
Saturday when I get home.

Those were very naughty doctors then! I don't know about "GD," being elite etc, but commisioned medical personnel should only have worn their branch device. same with paymasters etc with their "HV" device.

I am back from several weeks of traveling and just now able to get to psoting the straps that I promised you I would. I do not know who these belonged to, but there is no doubt in my mind that they are 100% original. Clearly, the guy who owned them had a tough time fitting it all on.
