i was hopeing to get some opionions on this overcoat.i bought this as a RAD overcoat when i first stated collecting RAD items,and i have yet to see another like it.there are a few things that i have questions about-
1.the cut of the pockets,has anyone seen that style pocket on a RAD overcoat before?i have included a line drawing from Angolias book "labor orginaizations of the Reich " that has a driver/passenger overcoat with similar style pockets,but the lineing etc is different.
2.the color,i have seen alot of variation in color when it comes to RAD tunics,this one seems odd to me.
3.the shouler boards,there was a pair of boards removed,they seem to large to be RAD boards?
the fact that there are no collar tabs just boards isnt a problem ,either is the fact that the collar is the same material as the rest of the coat (i have seen plenty of period photos of RAD overcoats like that)
