Can we see the whole jacket ?
It's rather important in this case.., the black thread at the back of the eagle is found many times same way on the luft specialists sleeve badges, plus I owned a 100% shirt with this type eagle.., so, lets investigate.

I see what I see, hence a stupid remark, but don't tell me you removed it before asking ..

Sorry but, it is 'bad to the bone'( bad to the feathers?) What did ya hafta do? Cut it off the tunic? Like to see the whole tunic.

I'm with Jos. Please show more details of the tunic, markings, button holes, dressing pocket, collar, cuffs, belt hook loops, inside where eagle WAS sewn....etc.
The eagle has many alarming (wrong) design features, but other elements appear good.
