Tunic has been period converted by adding German collar, lower pockets in M42 style and converting layout of the buttons holes line:- from genuine 6 Dutch to 5 German. Collar insignia were period applied, there are no shades from any other stitching. Eagle on the chest has been sewn not through. Mid war NCO shoulder boards used are matching and goes together with subdued mid war Tresse. Some interior details, together with converted buttons holes layout, indicate that the tunic has been converted to the NCO level by skilled taylor. So we dealing with two conversions here:- regular Duthc to German (collar, pockets) and private tayloring:- Internal liner marked with German sizes ink stamps has been folded, same as the edges of the tunic and mentioned 5 buttons.
