    Gabardine tunic m44.

    Hi Gentleman,
i have in my collection this tunic for almost 5 years. It's been tailored with italian gabardine cloth. What make me nervous are the unusual under collar stitches that i haven't seen before. They run all parallel and in diagonal at the edge as you can see in the pic. Do you own another tunic with the same feature?
    Regards,
    Alex
NB: don't watch the insigna...it's remounted.

              Hello,
this collar underside is not a red flag to me
I've seen M44 collar underside with small zigzag, large zizag, parallel vertical or horizontal stitchings...made with up to six different pieces of wool...

                Alex,

I have looked for an iron gabardine M-44 tunic for 5 years. Now I know where it is! If you get tired of it, you can always email me.

                Wonderful tunic.

                  Nice original tunic!

First time I see these vertical stitching, more often horizontal especially late in the war
