For me, the best part is the hand-sewn ribbons, including the Russian front medal.

Boards for the 6th Inf. Regt., which was in the 30th Inf. Division, which was part of Army Group North!

I've always had a special interest in the Eastern Front, and a tunic that stands a good chance of actually having been used on that front is a real treasure.

      Hi Chad,

I believe that loops can have been destroyed at the moment that a US, UK or another soldier pulled out the german badge or medal (EKI, etc) with war souvenir.

      Best regards,

      Ricardo.

Are you sure there were loops removed from the pocket? The photos almost make it look like a badge was pinned through the lower pocket material without loops at one time. I concede that having it in hand, you'd be the best judge.
