Yep, that's the one I mean. The pics weren't that clear but I believe it was a good one. Only the CT was gone but you could still see the traces where it was. Price was 7000 USD. A bit too much IMO certainly due to the fact that the CT was gone.

I emailed Collector's Guild last night asking to buy the Medical Officer's Tunic so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I haven't been too late.

Same Tunic went for € 2 600 when Thies sold it December 2007. Check catalogue 34, lot number 723 - 724.

If you get it, be sure to post it - I'd love to get a better look at it on the Forum - good luck!

I emailed Peter to ask about the piping color on the medical tunic and it was already on hold then, that was two days ago. Neat tunic but I prefer them ided now. I can always add a name with a Sharpee but it just is not as fufiling.

Do you need some empty taylors labels? Good price in euros. Jacques

Thanks Jaques, I usually just tear off return address labels from envelopes and staple or super glue them inside the pocket. I tell everyone this is the typical Late War application method when they ran out of thread. My Doctor says this sort of behavior is very creative and he thinks I may be out of isolation in a year or so.

John, Like that other guy said, where have you been diggin? Now I understand the wonderful imagination display in your posts. Maybe you can dig out of isolation. Did they use a pazer on you before they isolated you? Jacques. Ps don't sniff or lick the glue on the labels.

I will post a thread on the archaeological work in Chiapas after I get back in Mid-August. I am still looking for Hitlers Uboat and gold bars in the Estuary.

On a serious note, I would love to see that thread. I know very little about that history, it is Inca I assume. Wrong, Damn the Incas are way south, forgot the name of your lot. Jacques

I don't suppose Peter said in what country the potential buyer is did he? I am still waiting to hear back from him. If it is not me then I can look for something else to buy

Strange things happen with that Peter or C'ers Guild. I've mailed 3 times about a tunic that was still available on their site and each time I received a mail back to say that it was sold. Even a tunic that was on their site for 4 months !!! I mail and it's sold !! Strange that is and than they do put it on their site too "Sold". So, now I give up
