I have been doing a little comparing of my panzer skulls. I noticed there seems to be about 3 different types. I term them round nose, semi-round, and triangular nose. Then there seems to be the heart shaped nose. Not sure if that one is real... There also seems to be, 2 and 3 pronged skulls, some with pins, others with crimped over prongs (don't think the rounded ended pronged ones are original)
