    This is a later War tunic with an eagle dating to the tunic issue (1943) and earlier or prewar insignia applied to it.

        Derek, you are right an early (by the depot stamp, mine is dated in 1942) moleskin KM NCO tunic, but why the shadow?, why the Heer late patches with no shadow of a previous ones?, ... these is why I'm puzzled with it.

          Thank you all for your comments. I'm going to pass on this tunic. There are just too many contradicting opinions on it. John, your tunic you just posted in an excellent example. Thank you.
