Unknown Boards

I just got these from the son of a 29th Div Vet. The pips look WW2 to me, but I have no idea what they may be? any ideas?

Given the 29th Div, They could be from a Foreign unit serving with the WH in France, they look like POA boards but I am not sure about the Waffenfarbe system.

Bulgarians wore German type Rank pips as well but had flat or indented tips , Theodor may know what these are. Strange set.

Unknow boards

WW I, German boards for Unteroffiziere I think. Unteroffiziere (NCO's) should use pips in silver. The rankstars are wrong for those boards.
