    Tunic Shopping

I am planning on purchasing a Heer tunic later in the summer once I have saved up some money for the purchase.

Will it be possible to find a decent tunic in the 800 to 1000 range? I would prefer a wool tunic, but HBT is entirely acceptable.

I would also prefer to buy from a fellow WAF member instead of one of the major dealers.

It is nice to meet you. IMHO at the price you wish to spend, you could buy a nice Enlisted soldiers or NCO's waffenrock from the infantry branch, artillery etc. It would be hard to find a nice offers tunic at that price range. If you are not opposed to restoration, you may could find a stripped tunic to restore later with original insignia. My recommendation to you would be to buy yourself a tunic that needs no apologies and although you may have to pay a little more now for it, you will always be "rewarded" when it comes time to sell rather than settling for one with moth holes etc. Best of luck to you in your search.

I just sold a M36 tunic with a tailor made collar (for a wedding, or walking out tunic). For 1050 so we are not that crue here on the e-stand. Just wait your turn, and hit when there is something very nice, don't be satisfied with 75% . Good Luck!

          absolutely

Our colleagues are right...you can get a nice waffenrock in that range here on the estand, or a combat tunic in HBT, and if you don't mind reapplied insignia, a wool combat tunic as Sander described...and the guys are right about being patient and spending a bit more for the right tunic...my favorite tunic is one that is 100% un-messed-with, an EM tunic worn by an infantry officer.

When I bought it, it was pricier than others, but its a no-apologies honest tunic with no issues! That piece of mind is worth it!

I think we are talking dollars? You should be able to find a decent tunic for that price. There still are deals from members. You may need to wait a bit but it will be possible. Good luck.
