    Field made Pioniere tunic

I got this very interesting pioniere unter uff summer tunic of the e-stand awhile ago and only now got around to take some pictures. It is field made ( company taylor?) apparently made of Russian Zeltbabn. It is also interesting that the tress is luftwaffe. Juan I am sure you will enjoy it. Jacques

Hi Jacques, nice jacket! A lot of 'extra'jackets were made during the war, it's not textbook but I realy like them, they weren't always made by a field tailor, it could aslo be made at the local tailor shop.

Here is mine (made in France, Belfort):

                    Nice tunics

I like them a lot. Even with the hardship of the war they did whatever possible to look smart on their uniforms. It also show that the company tailors were very skillfull. I like that those tunics show a lot of character!!!!

                        Another field made uniform

Here's another field made tunic and pants. I believe it is made from some type of Russian linen material. The weave is course, lightweight, and probably quite comfortable in hot weather. Both the tunic and pants are matching and very well made. The picture of the M44 style, flatwire hoheitsadler is the best I can get of what the material looks like.
