I agree with Besslein . when the HBT herringbone pattern is so prononced on the inside , it is not a good sign . Not 100 % sure with these pictures of course , in hand it is real easy to tell , pictures don't always do the job .
So far IMHO , I will say repro .

I can not understand how anyone can make any decisions from these photos?

Better photos is needed in the first place!

Also photos of lining material as well as buttonholes as they are not the same on the repros!

It does look like the well known postwar HBT and has the soft look.

I would like to see more pictures too just for reference of what is out there now.

I thought this thread was about the Foreigner song, sort of sad.

Caravanos HBT material items have been readily available for probably 4 or 5 years now. It is for sale at every larger show. It is a very good copy but not even close to original if you know what to look at. The colour is not that deepgreen as the original Heer and LW HBTtunics have. The material is sloppy and does not have the stiffness original HBT have.

I think it is redicolous to make it some sort of superfake which nobody can differe against original material. Most experienced collectors would easily be able to tell the difference, specially if you have handeled enough material.

Also don´t forgett other small features which are wrong on his garnments which we should not talk about on a forum.
