    Tunic Markings

In the collection forum there is a southfront tunic with only 4 numbers not the usual 5 in an "X" formation. Is this common?

It is not unusual to see only four marks...however, I would not say it is common. What is more important is if the markings are original. I see a lot of repros/fakes where they have only put four....but usually very easy to tell.

I've got a 4 digit marking with odd #'s above it I'd like to authenticate. If anyone would post for me I'd appreciate it.

Here are a few more shots of Brians uniform. Please give him some of your collective sage wisdom. It is not a Heer tunic, so I will not be able to help.
