Not one common tunic on his site. The HG tunic he sold already is definitely wrong(the piping of the tabs was abolished before the style of cuff title was used, IMHO). I dont like much of what I see there.

      Tunic

Glenn made a point about the award loops and thats probably the most important aspect of the whole tunic in regards to establishing whether it's or . If they are original to the tunic then I don't think there are too many EM walking around with that type of hardware. But, whats the chance of them being ?? Just my nickels worth, Alex

I looked at the other pictures, Glenn made a good point but also on just the overall "check list" this fails. I saw Rommels tunic in Munster (no skulls) and this one is not doing much for me. You figure there may have been 5 set-ups like this. I would walk away,

I have to agree with all the additional comments, its just too easy to convert a piece like this. The types of tropical generals uniforms I would be comfortable with are those tailored as exactly that. Here are some good examples from previous posts and the Marshall's Baton, that illustrate that point so much better.

This is a well done "EGO TYPE" tunic.
On the first few seconds it will jump on anyones eyes who dream for something like this. For me looks like a very well done work for that "dream tunic". Attractive, for sure. But when we check on real one something won't match at all.

."..they tried to match the colour of the award loop thread,to that used in the construction of the button holes...." good point Glen

..and look at the wear to the button-holes, but not the insignia...

I have to agree with most others on this. Unless there is a wartime photo of the tunic/affidavit from the family, I would not want to get caught up in this. With out any pedigree, it will ALWAYS be questionable.....even if it is legit.

                            Alex,

It just struck me as appropriate at the moment. Sorry I could not answer sooner, but I just got home from church.

Things are getting worse on this forum !! What are you all talking about ? Do you know what collecting is ? Do you know original from made up or false.
Do you EVER look at original pics or does all your knowledge comes from books of "collecting uniforms, collecting helmets, collecting ....". This tunic comes from "Last Reich" and is one of the best known dealers in the UK. What he sells is no **** at all, and shouldn't it for some reason not suits you, you can always return it. But don't worry about this DAK, it's already sold as you can see. And what about the HG tunic ? Ever heard of the order that they were obliged to take off the old cufftitle and replace it by the new style. You think they received in the mean time a new tunic ? In wartimes ? Look at pics and learn !
