As per requests- GJ Arzt and Pioniere

This is a tunic to an Austrian who served with the Gebirgs-Sanitäts-Abteilung 43 of the 3rd Gebirgs Division. He received the IAB which I was not aware was possible but frontline medical personel were appearently awarded the badge until the GAB replaced it for non-infantry branches.

              Ribbons

My favorite feature of the uniform, they cut open the tunic body to insert the ribbons and sewed the ribbons flat to the front.

                          John,

Both top of the line in condition and quality. I have never seen a ribbon application like that...very nice. To top both off, two gorgeous bullion Edelweisses. This is why I visit this forum to see nice tunics and headgear. Congrats on some very nice examples and for sharing them with us. Where do we send our requests to view others?

Thanks, I have everything in storage but am doing my seasonal check for problems. I will photograph some more later today.

                              Hello John,
both tunics are very nice. As Richard mentioned, both Edelweisses are gorgeous. Pre-1941 made of gabardin, Post-1941 made of wool, good choice.
