M43 tunic opinions

Guys, would like opinions on this tunic that I would like to buy. I believe it is good but would like the experts to send their opinions also. The insignia is presumably re-applied but done nicely if so. Mainly need opinions on originality of tunic itself. Many thanks!!! Mike.

The tunic is original without question. No worries there. Ostfries is a respected member of the forum. I am sure everything will be fine. It looks like a very nice and well restored example.

I have a lot of pics from Meindert (Ostfries) about this tunic, is a nice original M43 offered for a fair price, I can not tell you by pictures if insignia is original applied but has good chances in my opinion.

This M43 Feldbluse is 100% legit. At this price with a pair of M44 Panzergrenadiere shoulderstraps, this is a bargain IMO. I wish i had the money to purchase it for myself which is not the case. I'm a bit surprised that someone who wants to buy it from the estand needs comments from others members, this Feldbluse is as clear as rain, this is a gorgeous example of a period shortened M43 Feldbluse of late production.

Thanks for your comments! Just to respond, I was one of the vicitms of the Konkin scam. Just wanted all bases covered and get opinions which is what I failed to do with the Konkin mess. I felt also this was a beauty but just needed that extra insurance if you know what I mean. Mike.

I understand what you mean, but in my opinion this Feldbluse didn't need to be discussed. in fact, you just wanted to be sure to avoid any risk with the seller concerning your next purchase. I have already made purchases from Ostfries and both him & his items are top quality. Meindert (Ostfries) is not Konkin, he is a respected member of this forum. Konkin appeared from nowhere with a pile of virtual goodies, sold everything without shipping any of the items and disappeared. A simple search about the seller and his implication in the forum would have showed you that Konkin and Meindert don't belong to the same collecting world. Meindert has a background here, Konkin is unknown.
Same thing for the Feldbluse, a simple search on the late war tunics would be helpful. I'm really sorry about what happened to you and the others with this Konkin sc!mbag...but you can believe me, there's no reason to lump Konkin and Meindert together. Enjoy this nice Feldbluse if you decided to buy it...

JP, point taken and understood. You are right! My cautiousness was not warranted here. Ostfries is definitley not Konkin. Ostfries is a really great member of this forum. I did ask his permission to list and he was OK with it. I did not mean to imply anything about such a respected member of this forum. Nothing against Ostfries or anyone else selling on the estand, but IMO it is always good to be cautious when buying, even when offered on the estand if you are not very familiar with the particular item.

I agree, you have no worries dealing with Meindert, if the dollar was not in the toilet I would have bought many of his very nice original items.
