    AK Cufftitle-Fake?

I'm dumb as a stump when it comes to these. I have grave doubts but still seek opinions. Thanks, Ron.

Ron, there is a very good thread on this style cuff title here somewhere. Try doing a search and I'm sure you will find it. Sorry I can't be of more help on this one.

I'm afraid it is a fake. On the real ones, the opening in the middle of the "P" is larger than the opening in the middle of the "R".

Hi Leroy. the material doesn't feel right either. Not like rayon. No doubt it's junk. Regards, Ron.

              Hello,
I have to agree it is a fake. Here are three origianls I picked up out of a collection a few weeks ago. Obverse the lettering, the square space in the R and the P in Korps, and the diamond shape pattern of thread to the back of the O.

Here are my examples and a close-up of the lettering.

              Regards,
              Jody

Reverse of original cufftitles (notice how the letter O in Korps does not have diamond shaped thread like on your example):

Here is a close-up of the letters R (has a rectangle) & P(is a square). Your example has rectangle spaces in both letters.

Hi Ron, just to confirm that the guys here are correct. It is bad for all the reasons stated.

                    Cheers, Ade.
