This one is a fake. That eagle is a common fake.

In fact, you and Dave are posting a number of questionable pieces, on a very long thread of fine examples.

I'm just curious which of the items i have posted do you find questionable?
                    cheers

Guys and who will explain why they a piece of a cap and an eagle are made by absolutely identical threads?

This is cool (and I am selling it on the e stand)

It’s an officers eagle over the top of an EM eagle!

                              Hello all,
I am not a cloth collector, but over the years odd pieces have made their way to my collection. A very good friend gave me a small collection of materiel taken by an intelligence officer after D-Day, including a few cut-offs.
Here are a couple of fairly standard collars.

A couple of LW eagles, I am not sure if they are cut-offs or on backing cloth. The flatware was not from the intelligence officer's lot, so I am not 100% sure of it.
