      Belgium made SS cap eagle

I've shown this before in the SS section but worth repeating for those who missed it...
an ultra rare example of a Belgian made SS cap eagle still mounted on the remnant of a Waffen SS "schifchen" overseas cap!

Gents, First I must say there are some amazing pieces displayed in this thread. there has not been any new posts here lately so here are a couple pics of my cut off collection. Interesting how some collectors scoff at them and others like myself are intrigued by the stories they could tell!

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

Hello, many fine examples on display. Here are two pieces obtained yesterday. My guess is not to many can say they aquired German War souviners from a woman. These came with many other nice items from the estate of a passed on WW2 US Army Nurse that was in the ETO for the last 4 months of the War. Her son told me she was a "tough old bird" but was always true to her life long career as a Nurse. Best, Bill Bourque

                              Some great insignia being posted!

                              Great SS cap piece Nick!

                              Nice finds Bill.

Mike, a tank destruction strip still sewn would be extremely rare! But, like SS sleeve eagles sewn to a piece of wool, they would be very tough to authenticate.

From last weekend's Raleigh show. Though no portion of the cap remains, hope you will allow this one.
