I saw this piece as soon as it was listed and of course was very impressed with it. obviously so were others. it didnt even make it til evening and it was already taken off the market. I knew this would end up an early "agreed buy it now" price. it does look sweet though, dont you agree. Glenn

I agree, a nice looking coat.
An auction is just that - an AUCTION, not a place where someone who feels that they cannot compete has to slide in and undercut the next guy.

I never really understood this tactic, as far as the seller goes. if a person offers me $500 to end early for a piece I am auctioning off then my thoughts would be, chances are this guys going to bid $500 at the last minute and if theres another guy out there somewhere who also wants it very badly then BINGO. two guys having a price war. that means who evers proxy is the most wins. why settle for a certain amount especially when most of the potential bidders havent even seen the piece. whatever, but sort of stupid on the sellers part in my opinion. The coat is still there , I am it too !!! , it was relisted because the seller listed it as a WH coat , when it is in fact a LW coat . Since it is not a WH one , it would not fetch as much as a WH one , go figure why , but that is the way it is with coat !!!.
If someone is going to pay $500 for it , let them do it ,I would not pay more than $350 for this one.

I was actually using the $500 as an example, not the actual price one might spend. whoops, I didnt even know it was a Luft. here I would have been thinking this is an awesome Heer coat for my Dude then I would hear, "nice coat but on the wrong branch uniform". think that would have cheezed me off? actually Im out as my Heer hoody is en route to me right now. Yes , it is LW !!! not obvious because of the way pictures are taken , but check picture #11 ( close-up to the hood) furthermore that type of hood and attachment (buttoned ) is typical of a LW coat. I would know , I have the same one !!!
Who ever bids on this coat expecting a WH one , is making a mistake.
