Thoughts on Assualt Gun Tunic
Hi everyone!
I picked up this well worn assault gun tunic and would like your thoughts.
the tunic is of an early quality wool that is thread bare, with traces of original wool nap on areas not exposed to wear. The tunic has been tailored up at the waist and cuffs. Also, a button has been applied to the inside pocket with the button hole hand sewn. Additionally, the collar hook and eye have been removed.
Tabs and eagle is machine sewn and show even wear with the tunic. The red piping has been sewn directly to the collar with the ends poked through a hole. the shoulder straps are well worn as well.
under the shoulder lining is a white cotton material that is a bit dirty.
