    Luftwaffe Technical Patch/eagle,help wanted

So I recently got this LW-technical breast insignia, with the letters GEN TT.

Does anyone know anything about this? Real or fake?

(And it is not the Brustadler für Mannschaften General-Luftzeugmeister, I have that one too, but it says G L for General-Luftzeugmeister.)

I've never seen this insignia before. It does seem to have correct embroidery and be on correct cloth.

I bought it because I was curious.

It has the right thread and cloth and embroidery, so the setup looks good, does not burn or glow under a UV-light.

I had never seen this before either and I have collected all types of strange cloth badges for a long time.

This is a breast badge for the Chief of Suppy and Procurement Service(Generalluftzeugmeister). This was a civilian organization within the Luftwaffe who were assigned largely as comptrollers and other related postions within Germany and occupied areas.

These men often wore the fliegerbluse with red piping, but the uniform regulations were rather lax, as seen in period photos.

Your specific patch is thought to be a suborganization from within Generalluftzeugmeister(as the organizations logo is used), but no documentation has been found on the exact use of it.

The typical Generalluftzeugmeister breast eagle is identical to the one you posted with the exception being that only a "G" and a "L" are printed next to the logo.

            Nice piece, by the way.

If you have the time, here is an intersting link
