We undestand that but can you put them back up?
I never got a chance to see anything.
If you can't....might as well delete this whole "worthless" thread!

      Hello there,

At least there is some "decent" logic behind it and I can understand that.

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply.
        Were the pics so outrageous?
If only related to WW2 memorabilia I don't see a problem

i can understand the reason behind removing the photos but for us members who would have liked to see what was in this great haul its a bit dissapointing to see all the pics gone .,maybe you should have posted this thread in the members only area then only members and no outsiders who have other interests other than collecting would not have been able to view

Helmetbuyer, please dont take this the wrong way, and I mean no disrespect to you, but what the hell are you thinking? This is the WAF! we are all collectors with the occational lunatic that gloryfies the TR. We all hate to be labeled as NAZI lovers. Most of us will not get offended by a neonazi that had a TR collection. We dont even care about him. We care for the stuff you bought from him. THATS whats awesome! In my opinion you did us all a favor and removed the memorabilia from this dudes presence. That way people wont relate it with neonazism. If the pictures were taken at his house and he had KKK flags or insulting posters to ethnicities then I totally respect your decision. BUT, take pictures of the stuff at your place man! and let us all have a see. Pretty please. Cheers, Raul.

don't bother starting a thread, then deleting the pics, it's a waste of everyone's time
and I agree, totally disrespectful, you don't belong here with that kind of attitude

Nobody's time is wasted... when this thread was dead for almost a month till recently.

Sounds a little extreme to say I wasted people's time... when they keep beating a dead horse.

I don't have the photos anymore.

Right now... my time is being wasted to justify why I chose to remove the images?

Can a Mod close this thread for me? This is getting weird.

After this last post my helmetbuyer I feel that this post should remain. The only thing that is weird is helmetbuyers actions.
                    1. Posts thread with numerious photos of "finds" that are also in the "For Sale"
                    section.
                    2. Deletes all the photos from this thread with IMO a lame excuse.
                    3. After members request photos be reposted....he claims they are now "gone".
                    4. Also states that " HIS" time is being wasted answering our concerns about
                    WASTING OUR TIME!
                    5. Instead of taking responsibility for these "uncollector" type behavior to your fellow colleagues and try to make a sincere effort to right the situation....
he instead asks for this thread to be closed.

IMO, this thead should stay open and Helmetbuyers should "waste" some of his precious time since he first WASTED OURS!

Hi Robert ("Helmetbuyers") threads are not "dead" while they have pictures still in them.

The forum is a living resource. This is the whole point. Members can bring up old threads from years ago, via a search, and find useful, helpful info. Just because a thread is a month old does not make it "dead".

Your removal of the pics HAS killed this thread.

If you have now deleted the pics off your hard drive nothing can now be done. But I would ask you to look again for them.

But I will say this. If I find people starting threads, getting the answers they seek (or just grandstanding items before they end up on the E Stand) and then deleteing the pics, they will be infracted under the forum rules.

                      Cheers, Ade.

                        Thanks Ade for your help...

                        Yes.. I agree...

but... I store all images on 3 1/2 inch disks I use with my Sony Mavica. These disks are erased over time, and new images saved.

As I have stated on the thread... I removed the images because I felt the showing of Skin head related garb such as custom furniture, may be misconstrued as promoting the life style.

Also, none of these images were water marked (I don't know how) and thus can be used without my permission by other individuals for whatever purposes.

The images were posted for a month, and I thought after two weeks without any further discussion, the thread disappears/drops.

                        Thanks again..

Hi Robert, I think you are going to have to invest in a new camera at some point. But I can help with the watermarking issue.

Have at look at this thread. Raymond has provided a link and tutorial of how to watermark images.
