I think this could be a reproduction that has been deliberately damaged and aged. The weave of the fabric and the wool backing to the collar, as well as the lining, make me a little uncomfortable. A burn test might show the use of modern threads in the construction.

I agree, IMO this is that common Eastern European ribbed fabric with the green lining and it has been beat up in someone's basement. This all looks like it was done intentionally by someone trying (too hard) to duplicate use wear like the other you listed which is clearly not WWII.

At first glance I thought that it must be original due to the condition that it is in but looking more closely, I see a couple of things that are not consistant with what I am accustomed to seeing in used originals. I think I would have to pass on this one, it is a bit suspicious.

This is the fabric that turns up a lot on Ebay panzer wraps and SS 4 pockets, they are all junk. Someone went to town on this one and the other with a vice grips .
