    Sturm Pzr (Brummbar) uniform

This picture appeared in feldgrau and worth sharing here! In addition to an earlier thread showing a modified FJ smock being worn by a tank commander, here a picture of another panzer officer (1Lt Josef Gauglitz Commander van StrmPzr Abt 219) wearing a Luftwaffe pilot jacket with added (camo) rank bars on the sleeves!
Another interesting example of uniform branch mixing!

That is pretty cool picture. I have seen alot of uniform mixing when reading military books. There is a picture of a Heer Panther crew in North Italy wearing LW tropical shirts and pants but Heer hats with Heer unit markings on the tank.

On a wartime film clip there was pictured a assault gun crew member wearing a field grey wrap tunic with a dark green collar. I think uniform standards were pretty relaxed for officers in the field.

      Hello Nick

I'm glad this kind of pictures show up now and then. I think that at the end of the war regulations were not so precize what to wear.

      Regards Erwin

Actually the one above described is the early assault gun Sonderbekleidung (discontinued when was chosen the one w/o dark green collar). Usually you see it in early war Sturmartillerie Schools personnel pictures, (like Juterbog).
