European to US clothing equation question

Can anyone please tell me what would be the approximate equivalent of a size46/48 WW2 German tunic in US sizes today?

129.9 cm = 48 in

I assume chest size or are you talking about the tunic neck size?

Hi Steve,

Thank you for the conversion. Much appreciated. But I think the seller gave me a modern European clothing size rather than a WW2 German centimenter size. Any ideas on Eurpean clothing? I can't say I've done any clothing shopping on the Rue de la Schmu for quite a while?

Update: found three links to the modern clothing conversion table. Looks like a small tunic I'm looking at:

Are you talking about a WWII German item? The modern European system was not used by the German military (LBA/HBA). They used tailors measurements/depot size for fitting soldiers.
