Luftwaffe fieldsoldiers in Norway???

Hi!

I try to make a luftwaffe soldier, and wounder if someone knows
if there was any luftwaffe fieldsoldiers (fighting soldiers) i Norway??. I know that, they have airmen and paratroppers in Norway, but i have never find something about fieldsoldiers.

Roger, the 14.Feld Division was in Norway. I don't know exactly what their kit looked like. But, if I were to do a display of one, it would look something like this guy.

I have german winterbluse with to black stripes and wounder

According to Antonio Munoz' book "Goring's Grenadiers", 14.Feld was positioned around Tronheim to protect the port from British raids. As part of the 20th Mountain Army, in December of 1944, the 14.Feld was used to around Narvik.

Kit with the field divisions is an interesting discussion in and of itself. After devastating initial results on the Eastern Front with the earliest field divisions, control of the field divisions was transferred to the Heer in the fall of 1943. It appears that supply at the same time also shifted to the Heer. Under those circumstances, I believe that the usage of your jacket if appropriate with field division troops of the 14.Feld.

14.Feld was the only field division to end the war intact. The remaining 20 field divisions were either destroyed or reconstituted as other divisions once their ranks were depleted.
