I'm thinking about buying this tunic and do not claim to be very knowledgeable on cloth.

I would very much appreciate your feedback as to the originality of this tunic.

Can you ask the seller for much better pics? Closeups of the eagle (front and back), markings, shoulder boards, buttons, and underside of the collar would be some good ones to start with. Based on this collage it looks original but better pics are absolutely necessary.

Looks like a worn original. Before I give it my blessing as an untouched original I would want to see better pics of the eagle, front and back. It could be the lighting or angle but I think there is a possibility the eagle has been replaced.
