Hello friends! Am I correct in identifying this as a LW chevron?

If the color is correct in the photo and it is feldgrau it looks to me like either a Reichswehr Gefrieter chevron or a later WH chevron made using LW or old style Army NCO tress. If I had to guess, with the black backing, I would say it is most likely Reichswehr.

That is weird, it looks field gray on mine. So much for letting other people use my lap top.

If it was Reichsheer, then it would have been backed with felgrau fine cloth or dark feldgrau fine cloth, as used on the collar facings.

The color in the photo is difficult to determine, but it is not Reichsheer.
