I agree with Chris. It is normal to see haggard looking eagles on these that were removed from Waffenrocks etc. and then sewn on to lightweight tunics. This is a very nice example. The fading is to be expected for a DKiG like that and it looks like there were two TDBs on the right sleeve. I agree with you for the CCB.
Unfortunatley back in the day TDBs were stripped from uniform for award collectors that had little interest in tunics etc. This used to happen a lot with WWI US tunics and patch collectors too.
I cannot say 100% from the photos but it looks like it is original to me. If it is it is an awesome example. Please let me know if you plan on selling it.
