The tunic certainly is original, it has been retailored for a more stylish look, as the seller states. The insignia is not factory applied but that is normal for a retailored tunic. The breast eagle appears to be a replacement, most likely the tabs also but who knows? The stitching job is not tailor quality but I have seen originals stitched more crudely. Now that even stripped tunics are fetching more than $1000 on eBay I think this tunic is very fairly priced.

IMO the Litzen are not meant for Infantry

IMHO I believe that it was altered and intended to be an officers field tunic. Most likely it was stripped of the original insignia at the end of the war and then replaced for an EM later on.

The collartabs are the ones since 1938 without color-piping, so they are quite normal. As i wrote in my estand-thread i get the tunic without shoulderboards and have add these Inf-boards.

I can´t see a shadow of the bigger Officer-collartabs, so imo the tabs and the OG-chevron is original applied. I agree with the eagle. I believe it´s re-applied. But during the time where M36-fieldblouse was made, the eagle was most handstichted to the uniform. Also as the are on the early side-cap´s.

                Hello,
i'm sorry but i'm afraid i have to say that IMO these Litzen aren't those for all branches adopted on the 26th of November 1938 (HV 38B N° 452) as the branch stripes and the Dopelllitzen are not of the same dark bluish green color. These, then, are not meant for infantry.
retailored and shortened original M36 Feldbluse with reapplied insignia, still nice

????? I don´t understand your statement. These are the second type of litzen with no color. Introduced in 1938. Maybe you mean the later one since 1940?
These litzen on my tunic have no "Waffenfarbe"! So they are for Panzer, Infantry or what else.
Perhaps i don´t understand you correct. Could you post some fotos belonging to your statement?

The same dates as the eagles.
                            White on bottlegreen till 1938
Grey on bottlegrenn from 1938 till 1940
Grey on fieldgrey from 1940 till 1944

Please correct me if you can find something false.

                              Hello,
don't you see that Litzen from 1938 you just posted and the ones sewed on the Feldbluse collar are not in the same color. On the ones just posted all stripes (2 stripes + Doppellitzen) are dark bluish green, but on the ones from the Feldbluse the 2 stripes are of a different color from the Doppellitzen. The Litzen on the Feldbluse are pre1938 production.
