Is this armband German ?

Hello forum...

a friend of mine e-mailed me these two photos of the armband below.


He seems to think it's German... since... there was a party armband in the lot... but... he passed on due to price.

I have no idea what it is...

never saw one like this before but as Number 1 is written in the german way Nr 1 = Nummer 1, so i guess it might be german

Is this armband German?

Looks very similiar to the German WWI Railway armband posted on Helmut Weitze's Website (see attachment) so it's a good bet it's German. Now if we only knew what the initials VC stood for? Chris
