the lining is the classical tropical cotton used to make heer jacket,pants,cap....

Easy to imagine the german factory used all the materials available at this period...including Italian Gabardine!

An excellent pair of 100% regulation keilhose 43. I have one with exactly the same lining (made in german wool cloth).
