latest addition : O.R. M43 cap

Hello to all

! SORRY, THIS SHOULD BE IN THE HEADGEAR-SECTION, COULD SOMEONE POST IT THERE !

Due to the fact that I recieved my 'holiday-money' from work earlier this week , I was able to purchase following M43 cap from Peter v Lucaks.

I was looking for a good 'has been there' one already some time, and I came across this beautie. Insignia is machine applied. The two buttons are not metal but pebbled aluminium ( IMO they were never painted).

should this be under the headgear forum? Can you post pics of the inside? Also, are there loops under the ear flaps? What about sizing under the seams?

loops are there Harry, as you can see in the third pic.

What do you mean with 'sizing under the seams'?

Yes, I know that it should be in the headgear section, but I was a bit confused

Take the side flaps and turn them inside out so we can see the underside. Spread the seams of the front of these seams open if possible.

Harry, this cap is on his way to me for the moment, so I can't handle it yet! I will take some extra pics of it when arrived...

Someone else who wants to give his opinion?

You mean by

the buttons on your cap have never seen paint or these buttons in general were never painted ? If you mean the second, I don't agree with you.

also jan a very very nice cap
i always look at the stitching
look of the buttonhole,s stitching
and the eagle and the reeinforcment
other thread stitching is t6hen the rest off the cap
that is IMO opion a good sign
