Better pictures would help but from what I see it looks like a nice privately tailored officer jacket with everything period applied aprt from the eagle which IMO should be re-appplied properly. (looks very clumsy)
Some collectors would of course say no, leave as is, which is fine but I am sure others like myself would argue that since the original has already been removed the true historical aspect has long since been lost. But to each his own.
As for value? I would consider tht to a collector looking for a nice otherwise intact officer tunic like this, something in the region of $900 to $1200 would seem reasonable.
Maybe this is a no-no and if so I apologize but I lightened your first picture for detail. I like what I see.

I agree 100% with previous post's.
Nice jacket, just resew the eagle. Regarding pricing: Dealers would ask somewhere between 1000-1400 euro.
Estand is a good place to sell at. Or maybe try you'r luck on ebay?Comment
