    Dubious "GD" uniform set

Found this on E-bay... Doesn't look very promising this "GD" set... but plenty of bidders willing to take a chance on it...

Oh Glenn, I happen to know that you only say you doubt this non-textbook uniform because you're part of the 'great conspiracy'.

I agree... but you can still find gems on e-bay! Look at this E.Reitz (Antwerp-Belgium made) M36 NCO tunic... its got moth damages unfortunately but it looks a lot more promising this one! I like it!
Only whats weird is that the litzen are infantry and the boards black pionier/engineers... but that can be fixed!

Typical M42 upgrade, straps could have been added at any time. Extreme mothing though.

True, its really not an early M36, its an upgrade to look like an M36, my mistake... I did not catch that right away...the missing pocket pleats...The title confirms its a mid war tunic converted with early features, those are the best I think! Its really nice (foreign maker etc...) but too bad about the moth damage though...Nick

That GD uniform is apalling. The M42 is real but look at the size of those holes, what could you do with that thing? I love salty and even damaged stuff but this thing is a little too rough even for me.

Maybe it was so full of moths it flew back home by itself, like a homing pigeon. Jacques
