Help needed on Panzer shoulder boards

Question: does the zig zag stitching on the reverse actually join two pieces of separate fabric?

I don't see any red flag in the construction neither in materials, look good to me as well, nice pair

Before i see closer fotos of the rosa-piping, i must say:
I don´t like them.

Mike: I cannot see if the zigzag stitching really holds together the two pieces of fabric.

I asked for better pictures and will receive them on short notice. I hope the rosa piping will be better visible then.
