    Panzer EM Waffenrock

I've just received this nice panzer EM waffenrock. However there are both good and bad points on this tunic, and i would like peoples thoughts on these points.

First up is the front. Displays nicely, with nice embroidered shoulders.

Shoulders. Interesting to note that the shoulders appear to be different lengths, as the '9' on the right touches seam, while there is a space on the left one. Nicely embroidered 'p' and '9' though.

Underside of the boards. One(shown) has zig zag backing, while the other doesnt, yet the same material is used.

The eagle, i presume is re-applied using black thread. Also would this type of eagle be found on an early waffenrock? The backing appears to be made from similiar material you find modern day tents made of.

There is a ribbon bar loop, made of green thread. However this loop has gone through the lining, and looks a bit of a mess inside.

              Outisde:

There is a black award loop. This however does not come though the lining.

The lower front button is obviously re-attached at some time, as this one is sewn on with black thread, and again is quite messy inside. The rest of the buttons are sewn on with light brown/grey thread.

Back of the button. The thread comes through the lining. Also some sort of repair using the same black thread.

The shoulder buttons have '1's on them and as with the boards match the the unit stamping inside.
However these buttons have been sewn on using the same green thread as the ribbon loop, and again the thread comes through the lining. I also think the right button is slightly further away from the collar than the left, which would explain the closeness of the right board number to the seam.

There is thread visible on both shoulder seams from the outside.

Inside only the top of the shoulders are sewn up using the same green thread, as the ribbon loop. The rest is sewn with a different colour and is hardly visible.
