Armband ?

I had a lady ask me to find out what kind of armband this is . It was brought back by a vet with a pistol , I saw the capture papers for the pistol. was sopposed to be taken from a killed German soldier.

no this was not worn in combat. These were worn by WW1 vets of the veterns association
