      Excellent peice of history,
But I regret that the decal is a fake
and the eagle has been re-applied.

      Regards,
      John

Don't think the jackets are original either, note the shiney buttons for one thing.

typical American government job. done half assed and I bet costed twice as much as it should have. plus as already stated, whats with the bogus clothing/helmets? by this point in time We didnt have any POW's yet? yup, typical. God bless America! Glenn

                Emmm......
You would expect I better job from the OSS.
A funny mix of the precise.. The troops scrape of the decals..
And the generalistion .. the germans are very good at flanking movements.

I take it part 2 showed the SS in black uniforms, swastika armbands
and shiney boots. Thus the 12th SS Panzer must have come as a shock..

                CHEERS,
                John.

In spite of the god awful "decals", I would imagine these OSS used helmets would still have some value.

                    Still a neat period documentary!
