It's impossible to tell if yours is genuine or not.
You can do the blacklight-test, feel and smell it, but then again it stays only your opinion. These are already faked for more then 30 years ( thousands and thousands were made). I would say that from the 10 that are offered, 9 are replica's. Were did you get this one?
hello !!
I have volksturm armband from Bill Shea in my collection.. so I think it's 1000% geniune.. but.. i have no digital right now....
At first look it's ok - like mine - maybe better (bigger) picture will help ???
Hi Mario, here is a pic of mine which was veteran acquired.
I am not keen on the one that you show as the lettering is thin, but a better picture would help?
Cheers, Ade.
I agree with Jan that these have been heavily reproduced.
Still, originals were supplied to men and boys in every burg
and hamlet in Greater Germany - or what was left of it by that time. While I'm sure there weren't enough to go around, they
must've made millions and I doubt that there was only one
manufacturer. There's got to be minor variations.
I had one a long time ago, and I believe it was like Mario's,
but I can't remember it's provenance, so I can't say for sure
that it was righteous.
