Yes, the Bevo / Uniform Takeoff is a really nice piece. The flatwire didn't show in the original foto so when I got it I was quite surprised. I would love to know more information about this piece from the experts. I am assuming it is an early piece, before production materials declined.

Yes, my 1st bevo is also like yours, a gray thread. That is why I was so surprised to see the used version with an actual metallic thread. If you look at the reverse photo you can see two looped metal threads.

Hoping that one of the more knowledgable Gebirgsjäger collectors can shed some light.

BTW, that is a great Gebirgsjäger General photo !!!!!!!!!!

Hello Andrew, yes you are right, metallic thread. Mine is lacking that.

This is my latest purchase, I like this variation pretty much.

why do you think that? As far I know, that should be an original. The best repro which I've seen is this, and even this is far away from that.

My unissued Bevo was also purchased off the E-Stand from a long time member. No questions were raised when it was offered.

Does anyone else have any problems with this patch ?
